Climate Change In Nebraska: The UNL Report

Update: The full report as well as supporting materials has been posted for downloading.

Senator Ken Haar succeeded in his legislative effort to advance Nebraska’s preparedness and resiliency to climate changes by improving and expanding the Unicameral’s advisory committee, but there was an effort to keep the committee from considering the human factor as a contributor to climate change.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Natural Resources took on the challenge of assessing the current science and has produced the report Understanding and Assessing Climate Change: Implications for Nebraska. The report will be released on September 25, 2014 as part of the University’s Heuermann Lecture Series.
